This is just a note that the document A Proposal for a Hybrid Contract-Signing Protocol has been updated to revision 1. I've added summaries of the pros and cons of each protocol, a mathematical description of the anti-cheat mechanism, and mentioned intermediary-based protocols in the "previous proposals" section. In addition, some of the explanation of the "Random Number of the Day" site has been revised, emphasising ways in which this is not like Rabin's "beacon".
